        ~♥~ Our First Christmas Without You ~♥~

Leah, it is so hard to think about never getting to celebrate Christmas with you again.  We know you are at peace in the presence of the Lord, but we miss you so much! You were such a sweet and innocent little girl, who had no idea how mean the real world could be, and it cost you and all of us so dearly. You will live on forever in our hearts, never to be forgotten for even one second. You were so special, almost like you were not real. But you were real, for a brief 18 years. We know no one can be perfect in this life, but you were mighty close to it. Few young people have had the impact on so many people as you have had.

                  On Christmas Day, ( a very sad 1st Christmas without you) we went to your resting place where your treasure chest is. There were 20 of us. We played your songs and lit some more candles.  The solar lights were burning too. Mamaw and Sissy got you a memorial bench. I have a few pictures to post on here. We are so heartbroken Leah. Your Mama is so sad. It was so cold on that hill that night, but we didn't want to leave you there. I am going to try to get a street light put up so Mamaw wont fall and get hurt. She goes any time we do, day or night. Leah, there just isn't a patch big enough to mend our broken hearts, only God can. And I pray, Lord help us all to get through this terrible pain and sorrow. We love and miss you so very much!! ♥♥♥♥  ♥♥♥♥♥
