Our second Memorial Toy Drive is a success!! We collected the toys Dec.17, and will wrap and distribute them before Christmas. All smiles for a chance to bring smiles to others.
Leah is surely smiling down at all these gifts collected in her memory for the children of domestic violence. 478 gifts and counting....Thank you to the businesses that allowed a box to be placed there, and to all the ones that donated gifts. Again, Thank You! ************************************************* "Justice will only be achieved when those who are not injured by crime feel as indignant as those who are."
HOW WE LOVE AND MISS YOU!!!!

This website is to remember our precious beloved Leah Victoria Avril, who was born on June 13,1991 and passed to be in the presence of her Lord on November 17, 2009, at the age of 18.
Leah was a part time model for the Chamber of Commerce of Sevierville, Tn.
This is from the cover of the current advertising

So Sad Moma
Leah was a beloved daughter, sister, auntie, grandaughter, niece, special cousin and special friend.
Her life was tragically taken on Tuesday, Nov.17,2009. At the time of her murder, Leah was a student at Walter State Community College in Sevierville, Tn.
She was a 2009 graduate of Sevier County High School, and had accumulated 12 college credits. She was a senator in Student Government in high school, and belonged to the BETA Club and the D.E.C.C.A. Club.Leah was also a teen board member. She also played tennis all thru high school, and was a cheerleader in junior and high school.
Everyone who ever met Leah was instantly captivated by her smile. She was so kind and sweet to every one, a young person we were so proud of.

~ ♥~ Heart-broken Mamaw ~ ♥~
"And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?" Luke 24:32 (KJV)
This was one of many favorite scriptures of Leah's, and she would quote it often to her Mamaw.

Leah,You and I had always planned on going to France someday to visit your French relatives. Your grandmother, Josette, was born in France and that was a life long dream of ours. I am so sad we will never get to realize so many of our dreams. My heart is so broken~my life is so broken.
