kARY WAS BORN ON FEB. 8TH, 1974 IN PASCAGOULA, MS.  HE WAS SHOT ON THANKSGIVING NIGHT 2006 BY 2 MEN IN MOBILE, AL.  IT WAS A CASE OF MISTAKEN IDENTITY ACCORDING TO THE POLICE OFFICERS.  THEY SHOT HIM ONCE IN THE HEAD AND CONTINUED TO UNLOAD THE GUN INTO THE TRUCK HIS GIRLFRIEND WAS DRIVING.  ON SATURDAY THEY PRONOUNCED HIM BRAIN DEAD.  WE DONATED HIS ORGANS AND HE GAVE ALOT OF WONDERFUL PEOPLE LIFE AND EYE SIGHT THAT NEVER WOULD HAVE HAD A CHANC IF HE HADN'T OF BEEN KILLED.  THE 2 GUYS HAVE NEVER BEEN CHARGED WITH HIS MURDER, THEY WALK THE STREETS PROBABLY TO DO IT AGAIN.  BUT I WILL NEVER LET IT GO UNTIL THEY ARE CHARGED WITH IT.  THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR REMEMBERING MY SON, WE ALL KNOW HOW THE HURT AND EMPTINESS FEELS AND IT DOESN'T GO AWAY.  GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY........

Thank you so much for allowing me to add my daughter Cynthia Tammy Hernandez on Leah's Angel Friends. My daughter Cynthia was also murdered on June 11, 1999 also by a boyfriend that she only had known for 2 1/2 months then he shot her to death. I will never get over my daughter's loss especially to someone just coming into her life for such a short time and ending her life like if she didn't matter. Cynthia was 20 yrs old at the time of her murder she would have been 21 yrs old the next month on July 29th. Cynthia Tammy Hernandez 07-29-78 - 06-11-99. My dear friend melissa fosters life was taken too. I met leah when i was in 8th grade and she was in 6th i will never forget her smile and you and your family are in my prayers everyday!!!!

This is a link to the story of Melissa Foster, who was murdered in Nov. 2008. She was an Army Private, having just recently enlisted. She was from Sevierville, Tn. also. He was born in Melbourne, Australia on 18th October 1990 and went to heaven on 26th. March 2006. He suffered much in his life from life threating allergies, eczema and asthma, but did so with such grace and empathy it was admirable. We miss him so much words cannot express the emptiness.

I know my mamaw is in a better place now and up in Heaven with Leah. My mamaw always loved Leah she always told me how pretty she was and evrytime i said i hungout wit her she would always remember tht it was the blonde girl tht lived beside me at her dads. She got her angel wings on Mothers Day of 2010.
