I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful daughter Leah. I know all to well the pain you feel as I lost my daughter Melissa on Dec 17, 2008. She was taken from us by someone who was suppose to love her and the pain is unbearable and now it is even worse as the man who did this to her will not be charged due to lack of evidence. I will pray everyday that the man who did this to your daughter will spend his life in prison. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May God Bless you all, Marian

I can only tell you that truly I DO know what you are going through and what you will be facing as you fight for justice which is the last thing that you will ever do for your precious daughter so this one is the fight of your life. I have cried while reading this and then reading the paper that your provided on the website about the lowlife that took her life...We will always want more out of justice but never will it be enough for us! I am to this day fighting with everyone about the misjustice that took place in my city over my daughters death and the scum that still walk my street but because one the actually one that killed her his mother is a cop so i guess you now what i am going through but i WILL NEVER EVER GIVE UP! I made a promise to my daughter when i gave her a last kiss good bye that i will not leave this earth without them! I guess you can feel or hear the anger that lays deep in me. I will keep you close in my heart and hope that you get the justice you so desparatly need and deserve. You daughter was beautiful and i am sure she is with dana somewhere over the rainbow flyin with the butterflies and free from this tragic world! If I could talk to the Angels, I'd ask the one that watches over you to make sure you have a very Merry Christmas . . . and that you always know how much I care and how often I think about you, and wish good things your way.

Dear Avril Family,
First I have to say your precious Leah is stunningly beautiful and I am sure my angel Brent has taken her under his wings. I am so very sorry for your loss. I know you are all still in shock at the horror of this nightmare and the reality of it hasn't even registered for you yet. I lost my handsome son just after Christmas on January 23rd, 2008 and he was only 18 also. I think I am still in shock. Brent was a truly wonderful young man that made a terrible mistake that cost him his life and it is something we will have to live with for the rest of our lives. Not a hour goes by that he doesn't enter my mind and he is always in my heart. This is our 2nd Christmas without him and it still just hurts so bad!!!
I hope our angels have met and become close friends~Brent always loved the pretty girls!!! The celebration in heaven must be wonderful.
My heart and thoughts are with your family as you try to remember all the wonderful things about your precious Leah and hold her close to your hearts. She will be watching down on all of you and surrounding you with her angel wings.
Together we will keep the memory of our wonderful angels alive.
