Leah Victoria Avril

To Leah's Aunt Jo and all her family and friends,

I have just read the newspaper article in regards to the death of Leah. I've read the comments that were made and my heart broke for you all.

Leah is a very very beautiful girl, and perhaps she met up with the wrong people. Sometimes we don't always see people for who they really are. I can only hope that you find some peace in knowing she said who murdered her, and that she wanted her Mom to know she was praying. God hears and sees all, and he will be the last person to pass judgement on everyone.

I'm so sorry that you all have to endure the pain, the hate, the anger, the lonliness, and the why's. I know what a family goes through with a lost of a child. My daughter died in a tragic car accident, that shouldn't have happened. She was twenty four and left behind a son who turned three years old, three weeks after her passing. Her poor son went through hell, trying to fiqure out why his Mommy wasn't coming home. He didn't understand...she never left him for a long period of time. He is eight now, and I can still hear him waking up in the middle of the night, yelling for his Mommy...telling me he wants her now, where is she?

Time has helped us, and eventually it will for you also. I know you don't believe that and that is a perfect attitude to have. With Leah only being gone three months your still living in shock and disbelief, after the first year you'll live in reality without her, and each year after that lightens just a little, but it will take nearly four to five years to feel you can live and laugh and go on. (this is my opinion, everyone is different). Just remember your not alone...there is many Angel Families out there willing to help you. I'm hear if any of you want to talk.

I'm sure Leah has made many Angel Friends and she isn't scared, lonely, or being hurt. She is at rest and has all the peace she can handle. It is the living that are left to morn and hurt. Never should a child die, especially needlessly by another. Don't let the guy who did this to Leah under your skin. It's not worth the tourment of putting yourself through the anger he has placed in your hearts and minds. You can not punish him, you can't control what happens to him...just put your trust and faith into God and Jesus and dwell on the beautiful memories your precious Leah has left you with forever to treasure.

May your Angel keep her Angel Wings wrapped tightly around you and help give you the strength to heal. She was loved, she is loved, and she will always be loved...why because of you!
